im thinking about doing a multimedia project on the progression of pottery design in corinth or architectural and artistic progression.

Hi Xxavier, sound's like a wonderful topic. The best place to start here would be with the Shanks book Art and the early Greek state. For contrast have a look at the pottery section in A handbook of Greek art by Gisela Richter. There are various places to go on Corinthian design and some great works are in French and German. For a broad perspective have a look at Robin Osborne's Archaic and Classical Greek Art (Oxford History of Art) and for a much more detailed treatment try Amyx's Corinthian vase-paintings of the Archaic period. Let me know how it goes, Chris.

My research is going along swimmingly and i have it in a powerpoint that just shows the progression of styles and techniques in the pottery but it just seems alittle sparse. is there anything else in particular that you think i should add? also i wanted to know where i oculd get a copy of the shanks because the library doesnt have it.
