I am interested in exploring and examining the shared, creative interaction between digital media and the arts. My passion lies within photography, film, visual and performance art. I'm currently a fellow for the Institute for Diversity in the Arts (IDA) at Stanford. This year's 2003-2004 program, "Diversity, Culture and Race in a Community Context," combines the artistic expression of students and resident-artists with the current social, political and cultural concerns and issues of neighboring communities like East Palo Alto. One possible idea would be to design an audio/visual project that enhances the creative work completed in IDA from last quarter. Creative work includes: spoken word, performance art, songs of sovereignty, and installation art.
