Archaeological Practices at Teotihuacan

This is the mandatory overview of the archaeology at Teotihuacan. As way of introduction to the site, I will quickly cover the following themes: 1) schematic of timeline and development of Teotihuacan 2) The importance of Teotihuacan in larger Mesoamerican prehistory 3) Current controversies regarding Teotihuacan and its inter-relationship to other Mesoamerican archaeological sites (particularly recent interest in nature of Maya-Teotihuacan relationships; leading to 4) Current research problems or goals at Teotihuacan identified by archaeologists
