Reiteration is the process by which we revisit previous archaeological projects and archives in an effort to rework their materials, inscriptions, and articulations in an effort to enrichen and produce new knowledge in respect to more contemporary practices.

It is one of the fundamental concepts behind a multiple fields approach.

Also refer to Lucas, G., 2001: Critical approaches to fieldwork. Contemporary and historical archaeological practice, London.
