I decided to look to an easy source for justice: recent supreme court rulings and their effect on politics and society.

Wetlands Protection

According to our government as portrayed by the media, justice is what is right according to traditional morals of the people and current social needs and standards. Therefore, justice is as flexible a term as the words making up supreme court rulings and criminal sentences. Since no nation can be rid of diversity, the majority opinion and/or one that complies with other popular views must be represented in the definition of justice for that particular case. The "majority" is also a variable and relies upon the country and the times to be determined realistically; one "fair" standard may not work by the rules of a country's society.

This reflects most of what we were discussing on Friday since we all live in the U.S. and see these definitions in action.

Al: Awesome articles, Sonya -- the courts have certainly been... busy lately.
