4. Procession in of other birds
- Koryphaios -- anti-immgrant, demagogue
- bird attack ("go for the eyes!")
- use the fanny pack, use the bandana
- what we've learned from our enemies (China/egg rolls, Japan/sushi, etc)
- Birds don't listen, keep attacking, Peter yells that he can make them kings of the world (in a moment of terror, to save himself and Hugh)
5. Big Bird Plans
- Peter says, first promise no biting, tickling, etc, no prodding in the... Hugh says "The arse?" No, I mean in my eyes. And K. promises
- Birds were once kings. Kings? Kings of what? Of the Earth! And like, Zeus. And today too... Hugh's funny story about falling asleep at a party and the cock crowing.
- Now the birds are nothing, worse than slaves, etc.. Birds cry, ask for instruction.
- Peter tells his idea of a bird city/screens. Can tax humans for sunlight, give tax breaks for lower carbon dioxide emissions.
- But why would humans comply? Well, they need sunlight to survive. And the government will comply because they need agriculture to remain stable and their power is threatened. With screens, can also consult with environment agencies to combat global warming.
- But how can two men live amongst birds when they can't fly? Drink special, herb-filled bird redbull. It gives you wings!
- K. talking about all the different cool things you could do if you had wings.
- Peter and Hugh make fun of each other in new bird suits.
- Naming new bird kingdom, or it could be the name of their headquaters...
6. Visitors (We don't have to use all of these, but here are some ideas)
- Televangelist (Pat Robertson?)
- Homeless person, starving artist
- Contractor, someone coming to "subdivide air into square acres"
- Inspector, perhaps a lawyer
- Messenger comes to say that screens are built
- CEO's of major corporations come to ask to advertise on screens
- CEO of oil company comes to negotiate about "tax break" policies
- Iris, maybe a press secretary from the government
- Herald comes to say that bird kingdom is successful, humans completely subject to birds. (O Blessedest! O Sagaciousest! etc)
- People start coming to ask for citizenship/wings. Ex-con wants wings to avoid jail...
- Prometheus character... some official alienated from the government comes to warn about Bush, etc's arrival
- Bush, Cheney, Condi come to negotiate. Cheney mumbles in the corner. Bush gives in to food bribes, hunting invitations. Condi is the only one determined to negotiate. In the end, they concede all power and are invited to a big celebration.
