i am a 2nd year ph.d. student in the stanford school of education, where i focus on research on philanthropy, policy and social change. however, one of my great loves is the study of dramatic literature (which i also majored in in college) and so i am thrilled to be working with the philosophical stages program as the evaluator. i'll be gathering some data on how the program influences the development of students' philosophical thinking and how the socratic method used in class might be applied to humanities curricula in schools. i'm very much looking forward to seeing the program unfold!
