Above is a diagram which maps the shared interest of partipants in attendance at the first meeting. (To those that weren't in attendance, we're happy to amend, change, renegotiate the structure, of course. Let us know.) We broke down the broad environment of new media into three areas/themes which we imagined to be interrelated in interesting and productive ways. A description of the areas/themes that each represent are discussed below.
These areas/themes can be used to figure out who might be interesting to invite to the workshops. A rotating scheme was suggested, where we invite a representative from each during the course of workshop.
Through the CSNM workshop we hope to develop hard ideas of and practices with new media at the intersection of these three broad areas/themes in a collaborative forum.
PRACTITIONERS
