I am a fifth year PhD student in the Center for Work, Technology and Organization at Stanford. The WTO (no relation) is in the department of Management Science & Engineering over in the engineering school. The engineering part is a bit misleading - I'm not an engineer, nor do I study engineers. Essentially the WTO is an organizational studies group and I generally consider myself to be on the road to becoming an organizational theorist. I'm interested in creativity, innovation, the hermeneutic relationship between producers and consumers and the role of property (material or intellectual) in shaping organizational and individual identity.

My group's website is http://wto.stanford.edu for those who are interested.
