Introduction to archaeology [link] is a distance-course that gives a general orientation of the main outlines of world prehistory as well as a brief knowledge of archaeological materials, theories and methods. The course is entirely based in PPBL pedaogy and research based problems and the students collaborate in groups of 4-6 persons via conference-plattforms and various forms of rich-media. The students are living in different parts of Sweden as well as in other parts of Europe and the US.
