Planning Year Outcomes
The project has tested and investigated how alternative collaborative co-creative authoring and social software educational environments created by ICT technologies within the framework of PPBL changes and improves teaching and learning in cultural heritage. In the Philosophical Stages summer program, pre-program and post-program surveys and questionnaires, interviews, and class observation--all conducted by the School of Education at Stanford--yielded substantial quantitative and qualitative data sets for the effective uses of Performance-Based Learning and social software in collaborative learning environments: PS2006 Wiki Results and PS2006 PBL Results. This methodology and these findings have provided templates for future evaluative work.
- Fall 2006. Philosophical Stages 2006 evaluated: entrance and exit surveys compiled, interviews and observation by School of Education analyzed
