Hello everyone. I am an archaeologist who specializes in the Roman world who has dug in Scotland and Italy. For the last five years I have been the co-director of a major excavation project in Pompeii where we have been investigating a non-elite neighborhood.
My current academic interests regarding Binchester include the Hadrian’s Wall Frontier Zone, the archaeology of Roman vici settlements, and virtual reconstructions of antiquity.
