A number of dances choreographed by Guru Surendranath Jena - composed, really, as he also composed the music and selected the appropriate lyrics - were inspired by the temple complex at Konarak. Some of these dances are featured and discussed at length in the DVD. Here you can see some video-clips showing moments from the choreography of Konarak Kanti, the dance Guru Jena created soon after his visit to the site in 1968, struck by the beauty of the natamandapa and from Chhaya Jhatak, a composition dedicated to Chaya, the wife of the Sun-god. The performers are Rekha Jena and Rama Jena.
